Homebrew Launches New $35M Seed Fund

A new, San Francisco-based seed-stage investment fund, Homebrew, launched Wednesday, saying it has $35M to invest in seed stage companies. The new venture capital fund was founded by former Google employee Hunter Walk, and Twitter employee Satya Patel. The fund says its name was inspired by the Homebrew Computer Club of the 1970s that helped spawn Apple, Computer Associates and many other companies.
