Ubiquity Ventures Launches $30M Seed Fund
Palo Alto-based Ubiquity Ventures, a small seed stage venture capital firm founded by former Bessemer Venture Partners investor Sunil Nagaraj, said this morning that it has raised $30M in its first fund. The fund said it will make investments of up to $2M in startups in the "smart hardware" and machine intelligence application areas. The fund says that so far, it has made nine investments.
