E2open Acquires icon-scm

Foster City-based E2open, the developer of cloud-based trading and electronic procurement software, has acquired icon-scm, a developer of supply chain planning and collaboration tools. E2open said it paid approximately $34M for icon-scm. icon-scm was based in Germany. The company said the buy will expands its market opportunity and solution portfolio, accelerates its product roadmap, and extends its position in the collaborative planning and execution area.
