Serus Acquired By E2open

Santa Clara-based Serus, a developers of software for managing manufacturing operations, has been acquired by E2open. Foster City-based E2open said it would pay $18.5M at close, plus up to $7.5M in earn out for Serus. Serus was venture backed by Diamondhead Ventures, OVP Venture Partners, Samsung Venture Investment Corp. and Zap Ventures, and had raised around $15.0M in funding. The company's software specifically applies to semiconductor manufacturing operations.
