Tessera Technologies Sells Assets Of Business Unit To FLIR

San Jose-based Tessera Technologies, which develops digital optics components, said this morning that it has sold a "significant portion" of its Micro-Optics business to FLIR Systems. Tessera said the deal was worth approximately $15M. Tessera's Micro-Optics business was based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tessera has been looking to sell that business since Q4 of 2012.
