Autodesk Buys Two Software Lines

San Rafael-based Autodesk has acquired two software lines from two, different UK-based software companies, the company said today. Autodesk said it has acquired software lines from Bestech Systems Limited, and separately, a software package form Savoy Computing Services Ltd. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Autodesk said it acquired Sam, a suite of software modules for loading, analysis and design of small and medium span bridges from Bestech, and AutoTrack, a suite of software for vehicle swept path analysis and the design of parking areas and roundabouts from Savoy Computing Services Ltd.
