Flextronics Acquires RIWISA

San Jose-based Flextronics said this week that it has acquired RIWISA AG, a provider of high volume, high precision, injection molding and automation products. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. RIWISA AG was family owned, and is based in Switzerland. Flextronics said the move will broaden its precision injection molding and high-speed automation offerings, and that it will acquire RIWISA's facilities and employees in the medical, consumer packaging and industrial products area.
