Cloudera Gets Investment From Intel

Palo Alto-based Cloudera, which develops a Hadoop-based, big data software product, has scored an investment from Intel, the two said Thursday. According to the two, Intel made a "significant investment" in the firm, making Intel the largest, strategic shareholder in Cloudera. Intel also gains a board seat with the funding. The funding comes on top of the huge, $160M funding Cloudera announced a few days ago. More information »
