Cloudera Finds $160M For Hadoop Data Analysis

Palo Alto-based enterprise data management software developer Cloudera said Tuesday that it has raised a huge, $160M funding round, to go towards the company's Apache Hadoop-based data analytics tools. The funding came from T. Rowe Price, Google Ventures, MSD Capital, as well as others. Cloudera said the funding will go towards geographic expansion, expanding its services and support, an dto scale its field and engineering organizations. Cloudera is led by Tom Reilly.
