Efficient Drivetrains Picks Up $3.5M

San Jose-based Efficient Drivetrains, which develops hybrid and electric drivetrains for use in a range of vehicles, has raised $3.5M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Jinyuan Development Company, and also included Silicon Valley China Venture Partners and the Shanghai Gui Guo Assets Management Partnership. Efficient Drivetrains is led by Joerg Ferchau. The company has significant operations in Beijing. More information »
