MessageMe Acquired By Yahoo

MessageMe, a developer of mobile communications apps, is being acquired--and shut down--by Yahoo, in what looks like a talent acquisition deal. According to MessageMe on Friday, it has been acquired by Yahoo and will join the company to work on mobile communications products for the Internet giant. MessageMe said it is shutting down its services on November 7th, and that users will no longer have access to MessageMe or their messages.
