Ozy Media Gets $20M

Mountain View-based Ozy, a tablet- and visuals-driven online news and media site, said today that it has raised $20M in a new venture funding round. The funding came from publisher Axel Springer. Axel Springer CEo Mathias Dopfner joins the company's board with the funding. Ozy offers up a slick, tablet friendly, highly visual news site aimed at summarizing the top news; the site was founded by Carlos Watson, a former anchor on MSNBC.
