Access Acquired By Berkshire Partners

Livermore, California-based Access, which provides records and information management (RIM) services, said Tuesday that Berkshire Partners has acquired a majority interest in the company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Access offers up storage and related document management services, and was founded in 2004. Access is led by CEO Rob Alston and President John Chendo.
