Highfive Gets $32M for Video Conferencing Gadget
Redwood City-based Highfive, which develops a video conferencing device, said Thursday afternoon that it has raised $32M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, and also included Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, SV Angel, Aaron Levie (Box), Drew Houston (Dropbox), Marc Benioff (Salesforce.com) and Shishir Mehrotra (YouTube). Highfive only just started shipping its video conferencing product in December, which it says is being installed by such customers as Patagonia, Slack, Zenefits and Warby Parker to add video conferencing in all of their meeting rooms. Highfive is led by Shan Sinha. More information »
