Cohere Technology Connects With $35M

Santa Clara-based Cohere Technologies, a developer of wireless communications modulation technology, said this morning that it has raised $35M in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by Telstra, and also included New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Lightspeed Ventures, Macquarie Capital and AME Cloud Ventures. Cohere is led by Shlomo Rakib, and is developing a new modulation scheme it calls Orthogonal Time Frequency and Space (OTFS), which it says helps provide high capacity wireless networks.
