Nod Labs Gets $13.5M, Expands Into Virtual Reality Game Controllers

Mountain View-based Nod Labs, a startup developing gesture recognition and motion tracking hardware and software, has raised $13.5M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Atlantic Bridge Capital and also included Walden Riverwood Ventures, PointGuard Ventures, and Nautilus Venture Partners. Nod Labs' prior investors include Menlo Seed, and Sequoia Scout Seed Fund. Nod Labs announced the funding along with a new product, a game controller specifically aimed at virtual reality environments. More information »
