UpCounsel Gets $10M For On-Demand Lawyers For Business

San Francisco-based UpCounsel, an on-demand marketplace for legal help for businesses, said today that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Menlo Ventures, and also included Homebrew and Metamorphic Ventures. UpCounsel is led by Matt Faustman, and has now raised a total of $13.9M. The company's marketplace connnects businesses looking for legal help--typically, general-counsel or in-house legal work--with a pool of qualified, independent corporate lawyers. More information »
