Quip Finds $30M For Team Productivity Apps

San Francisco-based Quip, a developer of team- and group-based productivity apps, has raised $30M in a Series B funding, the company said this week. The funding came from Greylock Partners and Benchmark Capital. The company is led by Bret Taylor, who previously worked on Google Maps. Quip's software lets people share documents and chat, with each chat associated with a specific document.
