Bromium Gets $40M More For Cybersecurity Tools

Cupertino-based Bromium, a developer of endpoint protection software, has raised $40M more in funding, the company said last week. The funding came from Silver Lake Waterman and existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Ignition Partners, Highland Capital Partners, Intel Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Meritech Capital Partners. The company said it has now raised $115M in total. Bromium is led by Ian Pratt. The company's cybersecurity products are based on using virtualization technology to isolate possible attacks on endpoints. More information »
