Sitecore Acquired By EQT For $1.14 Billion

Sausalito-based experience management software developer Sitecore, a developer of customer experience management sdoftware which was backed by Technology Crossover Ventures, has been acquired by EQT, via EQT's EQT VII fund. The two said the deal values Sitecore at approximately EUR 1 billion ($1.14 billion US). Sitecore has approximately 800 employees, and was led by Michael Seifert.
