Blackhawk Network Buys Extrameasures

Pleasanton-based Blackhawk Network, a prepaid and gift card issuer and payment network operator, has acquired Extrameasures, a operator of promotional and incentive prepaid card programs. Financial terms of the acquisition were not dislcosed. Blackhawk said the buy will broaden its reach. Blackhawk Networks is led by Talbott Roche.
