Blackhawk Networks Completes Grass Roots Group Buy

Pleasanton-based BLackhawk Network Holdings said Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of Grass Roots Group Holdings Ltd.. The deal had been announced at the end of August. Blackhawk Networks said it would pay approximately $118M in cash for Grass Roots, which was based in the United Kingdom. Grassroots was a developer of employee and customer engagement software.
