SurveyMonkey Buys Renzu

San Francisco-based SurveyMonkey has quietly acquired San Francisco-based data analytics software developer Renzu last year, according to reports Wednesday. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. SurveyMonkey has turned Renzu into a new service, SurveyMonkey Intelligence. Renzu was led by Abhinav Agrawal. The company's angel investors include Steve Parkis, John vanSuchtelen, and Tikhon Bernstam. The acquisition apparently occurred in early 2015, but only came to light today due to the launch of SurveyMoney's new product, although the company's angels had indicated the acquisition in early 2015 on Angellist.
