OpenGov Acquires Ontodia
Redwood City-based OpenGov, which develops software to help state and local governments open up their data to citizens, has acquired Ontodia, a developer of open source data portal software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. OpenGov said that Ontodia's co-founders, Joel Natividad and Sami Baig, as well as all of the company's employees, will join its New York office. Ontodia is the developer of the open source CKAN data portal software.
