Helium Finds $20M For IoT Sensors
San Francisco-based Helium, a developer of Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, has raised $20M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by GV (Google Ventures), along with Khosla Ventures, FirstMark and Munich RE/Hartford Steam Boiler Ventures. GV's Andy Wheeler has joined the company's board with the funding. Helium develops sensors for the ealthcare, food and beverage, transportation and grocery industries, and is led by Amir Haleem. The company has now raised $36M.
