ShelterLuv Picks Up $2M In Funding From Workday Founder

Shelterluv, a developer of software to help animal shelters manage and encourage adoption of pets, has raised $2M in a funding from Pleasanton-based family foundation Maddie's Fund. The funding was announced by Maddie's Fund on Thursday. Shelterluv is led by Greg Lucas. M addie's Fund is a family foundation founded in 1994 by Workday co-founder Dave Duffield and his wife, Cheryl. The more than $300 million fund is named after the Duffield's pet miniature schnauzer, Maddie.
