Applied StemCell Picks Up $19M For Gene Editing Efforts
Milpitas-based Applied StemCell, which is developing gene editing technology and tools based on stem cell technology, has raised $19M in a Series D funding round. The company said earlier this week that the Series D investment was led by HerMed Capital, and included Ping An Ventures, Vi-Ventures and BioSciKin. The company is initially focusing its efforts on monogenic blood disorders. Applied StemCell is led by Ruhong Jiang, Ph.D. More information »
