Extreme Networks Buys Zebra's Wireless LAN Business

San Jose-based Extreme Networks said today that it is acquiring the wireless LAN business owned by Zebra Technologies. Extreme Networks will pay $55M in cash for the business. Extreme Networks said it expects the transaction to be accretive, and said the new assets will generate over $115M in annualized revenue. Zebra Technologies was advised by Moelis & Company LLC and Kirkland & Ellis LLP in the transaction; Extreme Networks was advised by Latham & Watkins LLP and Cowen and Company.
