Impact Venture Capital Sets Up Shop In California
A new, venture capital firm--led by venture capital veterans Dixon Doll, Eric Ball, and Jack Crawford--says it has launched a new venture capital firm, Impact Venture Capital, and set up offices in Burlingame and Saramento. The firm--which did not announce the size of its first fund--said it will invest alongside corporate venture groups in early stage information technology startups, with a focus on software and data analytics. Doll founded Doll Capital Management (DCM), and had been at Accel, and is the former Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Ball was an investor at Targhee Ventures, and also served at Oracle Corporation as Treasurer, and also was CFO at C3 IoT. Crawford was previously manager of Velocity Venture Capital.
