Joy Captures $2.5M In Seed Funding For Interactive Photo Album Hardware
San Francisco-based Joy, a startup developing a hardware-based, interactive photo album, has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round, the company said today. The funding came from Obvious Ventures, BoxGroup, The Chernin Group and Maywic Select Investments. Joy is led by Alan Chan. The company has yet to ship its device, which it says will cost $499, but is currently at $299 plus shipping on pre-order.
