Securly Snags $4M For School Web Filtering Software
San Jose-based Securly, a developer of cloud-based, web-filtering software for schools, has raised $4M in a Series A funding, the company said thi week. The funding was led by Owl Ventures. Securly says it hs now raised $7M in total. Securly said it will use the new funding to reach beyond schools, and start marketing products to parents to monitor their childrens' online activity. Securly is led by CEo and co-founder Vinay Mahadik.
