Antares Audio, Maker Of Auto-Tune, Acquired

Scotts Valley, California-based Antares Audio Technologies, the company behind the popular Auto-Tune software, has been acquired by private equity investors Broadstream Capital partners and Corbel Structured Equity Partners. Financial details of the buyer were not disclosed. Antares Audio had been owned by founder and CEO, Dr. Andy and Georganna Hildebrand.
