Transcriptic Takes $13.4M

Menlo Park-based Transcriptic, a developer of software to help improve the operation of lab protocols, has raised $13.4M in a Series A-1 investment, according to the company today. The funding was led by Data Collective, and also included Digital Science and WuXi AppTec, along with AME Cloud Ventures. Transcriptic is led by Max Hodak.
