Evident.io Gets $22M In Series C Funding For Cloud Security

Pleasanton-based Evident.io, a provider of cloud security services for Amazon Web Services, has raised $22M in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by GV (formerly Google Ventures), plus Bain Capital, True Ventures and Venrock. Tim Prendergast is cofounder and CEO of Evident.io. the company said it has now raised $49M in total. Evident.io will use the funding to expand its support of cloud platforms from AWS, to Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, along with other development efforts.
