ReThink Medical Finds $3M To Prevent Heart Failure Issues
San Francisco-based ReThink Medical, which is developing software which uses information from medical devices to prevent hospitalization for heart failure patients, has raised $3M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Emergent Medical Partners (EMP), along with Norwich Ventures and Launch Capital, and also includes a strategic partnership with Japanese medical device firm Terumo Corporation. The company said the funds go towards clinical trials. Bob Bronell of EMP joins the company's board with the funding. Reza Naima is CEO of ReThink Medical.
