TechieGamers Grabs $113K In Seed Funding

San Francisco-based gaming and entertainment site TechieGamers said it has received $113,000 in a seed funding round, which came from angel investor Mehran Khavarian. TechieGamers is led by Karen Tumbokon, a technology reporter who has worked for Heavy.com, DigitalTrends, and IBT Media, among other publications. As part of the funding, the company said CHuck Osborn as been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the company. Osborn is former Managing Editor of IGN.com.
