Omada Health Finds $50M From Cigna, Others

San Francisco-based Omada Health, which operates online programs to help patients with chronic conditions like heart disease and type 2 diabetes, has raised $50M in a new funding round. The funding was led by Cigna, and also included Civilization Ventures and Sanofi Genzyme BioVentures. Omada said that Cigna will offer up its digital intensive behavioral counseling platform to eligible Cigna-administered health plan customers. Omada's CEO is Sean Duffy.
