Facebook Buys Ozlo For AI Team

Facebook has acquired Palo Alto-based artificial intelligence startup Ozlo, Ozlo said on Monday, to help Facebook bolsters Messenger team. Ozlo had developed mobile apps for Android and iOS that served as virtual assistants. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Ozlo was venture backed by Greylock Venture, Amino Capital, and AME Cloud.
