Bodega Gets Angel Backing For Automated Convenience Machines

San Francisco-based Bodega, a developer of automated, convenience machines has revealed an angel funding round, and launched its product into the market. According to the company, it raised funding about a year ago from Josh Kopelman of First Round Capital, Kirsten Green at Forerunner Ventures, and Hunter Walk at Homebrew, along with other angels. Bodega attempted a fancy launch on Wednesday which resulted in a spectacular fail, where negative social media and critical commentators forced the company to apologize for its name.
