Callidus Software Buys OrientDB

Dublin, California-based Callidus Software, a developer of cloud-based sales and marketing software, announced today that it has acquired OrientDB Ltd., a developer of NoSQL database software. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Callidus said it is using OrientDB's database as part of its Direct Selling Pro solution, which it sells to the multi-level marketing industry. OrientDB was based in London.
