Roofstock Adds $35M More

Oakland-based Roofstock, which operates an online marketplace for single family rental home investing, said this morning that it has raised $35M in a Series C funding round. The funding was led by Canvas Ventures, and also included Lightspeed Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Nyca Partners, QED Investors, and FJ Labs. Gary Beasley is co-founder and CEO of Roofstock. The company said funding will go to meet increased customer demand, expand into new markets, and also for development of new features.
