Instacart Picks Up $200M More
San Francisco-based grocery delivery startup Instacart disclosed today that it has raised $200M more in funding--a Series E--which reportedly values the company at $4 billion. The funding came from Coatue Management, Glade Brook Capital Partners, and prior investors. The new funding comes as Instacart is seeing stiff competition from Amazon.com, and its expansion of its Prime Now grocery delivery services, as well as its links with newly acquired organic grocery chain Whole Foods.
