TeraPore Technologies Takes $6M For Membrane Nanofilters

South San Francisco-based TeraPore Technologies, which develops nanofiltration membrane systems aimed at bioprocessing and other applications, said today that it raised $6M in a Series A funding round. The funding was led by Anzu Partners, and also included RA Capital Management, Artiman Ventures, and the company's attorneys, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The company said the round was oversubscribed. TeraPore is led by Dr. Rachel Dorin. The company said its nanofiltration membranes are based on "scalable block copolymer self-assembly technology."
