CrowdStrike Raises $200M, Valued At $3 Billion

Sunnyvale-based Crowdstrike, the cloud cybersecurity software developer led by George Kurtz, has raised a major $200M funding round, which values the company at more than $3 billion, the company announced this morning. The company said the funding was led by General Atlantic, Accel and IVP, with participation from March Capital and CapitalG. CrowdStrike said the new funding round will help to continue the "accelerate the global demand" for its Crowdstrike Falcon endpoint protection platform. CrowdStrike did not provide any financials, but aid it doubled its revenue and headcount in the past year. More information »
