Evidation Health Finds $30M In Series C
San Mateo-based Evidation Health, which develops data software to correlate behavioral data, medical conditions, and symptoms to improve medical research and treatments, has raised $30M in a Series C funding, the company said on Wednesday. The funding was co-led by SV Health Investors and B Capital Group, and also included GE Ventures and Sanofi Ventures. Evidation says it has now raised $61M in total. Evidation Health is led by CEO Deborah Kilpatrick, Ph.D. The company says it uses data from smartphones, wearables, and medical devices, correlated with claims, electronic health records, and diagnostic reports, to see how behaviors outside a doctor's office affect health and medical outcomes. The company said it uses data from such wearables as Apple Health to Fitbit, Epic, Blue Button, and Dexcom. More information »
