AEye Adds $40M
Pleasanton-based AEye, a developer of LIDAR vision systems used for autonomous navigation, said on Wednesday that it has raised $40M in its Series B funding round. The funding was led by Taiwania Capital, and also included Hella Ventures, SUBARU-SBI Innovation Fund, LG Electronics, SK Hynix, Kleiner Perkins, Intel Capital, Airbus Ventures, R7 Partners, and an undisclosed OEM. According to AEye, the new funding brings its total raised to more than $60M.
