Technology Crossover Ventures Adds Partner

Palo Alto-based venture capital firm Technology Crossover Ventures said Tuesday that it has added Rob Solomon as a Venture Partner. Solomn is the former CEO of travel search engine firm SideStep. According to TCV, he will focus on investment opportunities in the Internet Sector. Solomon has also served at Yahoo, where he was VP and GM of Yahoo! Shopping Group, and has worked at Electronic Arts and Cendant.
