Trimble Buys NTech Industries

Sunnyvale-based Trimble announced Friday that the firm has acquired Ukiah-based NTech Industries, a maker of optical sensing products used in the farming industry. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. NTech develops sensors used to control the application of fertilizers and herbicides on crops. The firm will become part of Trimble's Agriculture Division.
