VantagePoint Backs Phreesia

Silicon Valley venture capital firm VantagePoint Venture Partners has backed a New York-based developer of software for managing the patient check-in process for medical offices, Phreesia. Phreesia said VantagePoint led its $20M, Series D round this week, as a new investor. Phreesia's hardware and software automates patient check in, gathering demographic, insurance, and clinical information via a handheld electronic pad. Other investors in the round include Ascension Health Ventures, Polaris Venture Partners, HLM Venture Partners, Long River Ventures and BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners. More information »
