VMware Buys AirWatch For $1.54 Billion

Palo Alto-based virtualization software maker VMware said Wednesday that it has agreed to acquired AirWatch, a developer of security and mobile management software. The deal was worth $1.18 billion in cash plus $365M more in earn out. AirWatch was based in Atlanta.
